.... VeriTrader is just unbelievable!. Quite simply no other software product that I have seen even comes close to offering the same level of flexibility and sophistication, and certainly nothing else I have found is capable of testing and managing a full-blown trading system such as The Turtle Rules".
Now I can put aside my own software development and concentrate solely on my trading system development.
In spite of being so damn powerful, it still seems so intuitive and straightforward to use...it's a bit like trading up from a Model T Ford and stepping into the latest Masserati coupe.I just love it!

I just want to say this program truly rocks!
I can't tell you how many hours I have spent trying to program a system using TS or excel only to find it's not calculating some portion of some equation correctly or to find out from support there is no way to program that using "easy language" so I'm back to the drawing board doing it all again.
VT is light years ahead of TS. Easy interfaces and optimization methods and it's fast! And I can see real results I know are accurate. Really well done!

VeriTrader is the tool I've been dreaming of having for a *long* time.
After spending just a few short months with VeriTrader, I know that I've made a major leap forward. The interface is clean and intuitive. The documentation is comprehensive, polished and most importantly, readable. I've been able to fire up VT and within minutes of installing the sample historical data have been able to rapidly run hundreds of different tests. Before even reading the manual I was able to quickly see how in a given trading system, profitability and drawdown could be dramatically impacted by very slight tweaks to the rules. VeriTrader allows me to ask virtually any "what if" question about trading system design, and see detailed answers in seconds.
My passion for trading system development started with my exposure to TradeStation2000i. However, I rapidly discovered that it was incredibly limited in many ways. Although programming in "EasyLanguage" really was "easy," the biggest limitation in TS2000i was the built-in assumption that I would only be trading one system, on one market at any given point in time. This would make some sense if I was a single market daytrader, but absolutely no sense at all for someone interested in the long-term trading of a "basket" of markets.
I tried for many months to build a rudimentary trading system in Excel until I ran into my own limitations as a non-programmer. After months of frustration, I was exposed to Trading Recipes. This was a major step forward because here was a package that seemed designed for handling things like pyramiding, and simultaneous multi-market/multi-system trading. However, TR turned out to be anything but intuitive. The user manuals and other documentation were rather antiquated, not to mention the clunky DOS interface and seemingly unstable behavior while trading "live." With TR I ended up having to hire expensive outside consultants just to keep my head above water.

After receiving Veritrader and running the application through several tests, I came to realize that someone beat me to the punch in developing the system trading tool of all trading tools�.but seriously as an application programmer myself, I felt that Veritrader addresses all the needs required to back test trading strategies ... such as changing parameters from stops to entry points and exits points, and producing a comprehensive report and a viewable trading summary. Whether you're a programmer or novice trader you'll appreciate how powerful yet flexible this application can be. ... I am happy to say I would not trade any market without utilizing Veritrader first.

First of all let me say, this program is amazing. Its a dream come true for someone who has < 0 programming ability. If you know how to turn on a computer....you know how to use this program. Before this product, I envisioned years of struggling with learning programming just to do what I did in the first 10 minutes with this program. Ten minutes with this program and I have already learned so much about what works and what doesn't that I am actually giddy. What an eye opening experience. Thank you for creating a product that a person with ideas but no programming ability can use. A world of possiblity has just opened up ...
